Let's go back to being a teacher!

I talked about changes last week, the whole student-to teacher-to student thing. This week we are back to that again, even if it is just for a couple of minutes. This afternoon, I had to go back to being a teacher but this time with a bit of a twist: my students were going to be my classmates.
For this brief, but also really interesting, experience I had to pretend that I was teaching a class to my first of ESO students, who in reality were my classmates (please, bare in mind that my classmates are all adults who have finished their degrees and most of them even have working experience). Using the total physical response method (for all of you that don't know this, it is a method in which you teach a language by using physical movement, so the students can have it as a support and they make the connections between the movement and what the teacher is saying), I had to teach my "students" how to give directions (again, a class full of adults) and after that, to see if they had understood the lesson, they had to prove it by playing Simon Says in small groups (adults playing Simon Says!!!!).
In all honesty, it has been a really fun experience but I have to say that I also felt more nervous teaching my classmates for five minutes that I felt the two years that I worked as a teacher for small children. I personally don't enjoy whenever I have to do a presentation and I used to have a really hard time doing them while I was in high school , so whenever I have to do something like, I struggle a little bit (but thankfully I got used to it while I was working as a teacher so it was good).
I hope you have an amazing week and I will see you next week!
